Bookings and Payments

• All bookings are only considered confirmed once a 40% non-refundable deposit has been received.

• The remaining balance is due no later than two (2) months prior to the retreat start date.
• If full payment is not received by this date, the reservation may be cancelled and the deposit forfeited.
• After the balance due date, no cancellations or refunds are possible.
• At the owner’s discretion, and subject to availability, a booking may be transferred to a different date or individual.

Cancellation Policy

If you cancel your booking after paying the full amount or within 1 month of arrival then 100% of the room rate will be charged.
We strongly recommend that you take out your own insurance. 

Credit Card Payments

We accept all major credit cards (apart from American Express).

Check in / Check out times

• Check-in: From 4:00 PM on the day of arrival
• Check-out: By 10:00 AM on the day of departure
• Early arrivals or late departures must be arranged and approved in advance.

Wi-fi Access

For those that want to keep in touch with home, we have free wi-fi access throughout the house.

House Rules

• Les Marguerites is a non-smoking property. Smoking is not permitted anywhere inside the house or on the grounds.
• All guests are expected to behave respectfully toward other guests, the property, and the surrounding community.
• Quiet hours and shared space guidelines must be observed to maintain a peaceful and restorative environment.

Children
We are sorry, but we only accept children over the age of 12 and with prior agreement.

Pets

We are sorry, but we cannot accommodate pets. 
We have 2 old cats who lounge in the sun all day and a 5 year old small dog on the property. 

Health, Safety, and Liability

• All guests participate in activities at their own risk.
• Les Marguerites is not responsible for any injuries, illnesses, or losses incurred during your stay or participation in a retreat.
• We recommend that all guests have adequate travel and health insurance to cover any unforeseen circumstances.
• Les Marguerites does not assume liability for retreat content or how individual guests may be affected by the experiences offered.

Use of Personal Information

• Personal information collected during booking (e.g. name, email, dietary preferences) is used solely for the purpose of managing your stay and ensuring your comfort.
• Les Marguerites does not sell or share personal data with third parties.
• By booking with us, you consent to this use of your information in accordance with relevant data protection laws.

Force Majeure

Les Marguerites is not liable for any failure to perform its obligations if such failure is due to causes beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, fire, flood, war, pandemic, or government restriction.

Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of France. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the French courts.
